My personal favorite is #4 by FAR!

1. Casa Monica Resort & Spa:
Nestled in the heart of historic downtown St. Augustine, Casa Monica Resort & Spa exudes timeless elegance and Southern hospitality. This luxurious venue offers versatile event spaces, including grand ballrooms and intimate courtyards, perfect for weddings and upscale soirées. With its rich history and stunning architecture, Casa Monica provides a picturesque setting for capturing unforgettable moments with Big Fun Photo Booth.

Expert St. Johns Event Venues Tip: Parking is a bear down here. Their lot is good-sized but might not be enough for all your guests and all the hotel guests. Great views from the bar on the rooftop. It’s an older gem, so expect some rough spots around the edges.

2. The White Room:
Perched atop the scenic bayfront of St. Augustine, The White Room offers panoramic views of Matanzas Bay and the historic Bridge of Lions. This premier waterfront St. Johns event venue features elegantly appointed ballrooms and rooftop terraces, making it a sought-after destination for weddings and special events. Whether you’re exchanging vows against a backdrop of sparkling water or dancing the night away under the stars, The White Room provides a magical setting for your celebration.

Expert Tip: Once again, parking in St. Augustine is difficult for large parties. I would suggest offsite parking and a shuttle of some kind. As a vendor, I hope to get lucky with a spot after I load in. Great bar downstairs. Try the Red Ale!

3. River House Events:
Located along the tranquil banks of the Matanzas River, River House Events offers a serene and picturesque setting for weddings and gatherings. Surrounded by lush greenery and majestic oak trees, this waterfront venue boasts indoor and outdoor spaces that blend natural beauty with modern amenities. From intimate ceremonies on the riverfront lawn to lavish receptions in the grand ballroom, River House Events provides a romantic and enchanting backdrop for your special day.

Expert Tip: Great sunrise view but you probably won’t be there for that. Removed enough from the craziness of downtown St. Augustine. Modern and clean inside. I like this venue. A bit corporate but hey.

4. Ponte Vedra Inn & Club:
Situated along the pristine shores of Ponte Vedra Beach, Ponte Vedra Inn & Club epitomizes coastal luxury and sophistication. This renowned resort offers a variety of indoor and outdoor venues, including oceanfront lawns, elegant ballrooms, and intimate courtyards. Whether you’re hosting a seaside wedding, corporate retreat, or milestone celebration, Ponte Vedra Inn & Club provides an unparalleled blend of elegance and relaxation, creating memories that last a lifetime.

Expert Tip: If you’re booking this place, money is not object. I have loved the food and the staff here when Big Fun Photo Booth has been there. Outdoor event can hot even though the pool and beach are just steps away – they are a world away if you’re dressed up.

5. The Treasury on the Plaza:
Located in the heart of downtown St. Augustine, The Treasury on the Plaza is a historic landmark that marries Old World charm with modern elegance. This meticulously restored bank building features soaring ceilings, intricate architecture, and opulent details that create a stunning backdrop for weddings and events. With its grand ballroom and rooftop terrace overlooking the city skyline, The Treasury on the Plaza offers a truly unique and unforgettable setting for your special occasion.

Expert Tip: Right around the corner from the White Room complex, this is a narrower event space with a cool bar. Parking is a challenge as always, but right across the street is a great park for great photo ops.

From historic landmarks to waterfront retreats, St. Johns County offers an array of venues that cater to every style and preference. Whether you’re dreaming of a fairytale wedding, a corporate retreat, or a milestone celebration, these top venues provide the perfect canvas for bringing your vision to life. And with Big Fun Photo Booth as your entertainment partner, you can capture every moment and create lasting memories that you’ll cherish for years to come.
